“I was on my second cup of coffee this morning when we had an earthquake. Only 5.9, not as rough as the 6.4 we had last year, but enough to get me up and out of the house just in case. Standing outside, feeling the earth swaying under my feet reminded me of the unsteadiness of our lives & the facades of stability we tend to surround ourselves with. I did it with my fan brush and a no. 0 round. The inks I did with my nib pen, and I kept them loose. Lotsa burnt sienna… “
Great painting!
