Began, Myanmar

31 Jul

Htilo Minlo Temple is the largest temple of Bagan. Built in A.D. 1218, this cave pagoda is noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations. It is built of bricks and cement and has no iron or wooden beam buttresses.  It is one of the last great temples built before the fall of the Bagan Dynasty. With its amazing architecture, one will surely be impressed.
