Top image is my foot and a real shoe from China. My aunt was a missionary there in the 1940s, and sent this home as a momento. My sister and I share ownership of this shoe; we both want it all the time! But we have compromised, of course, and take turns year by year. It’s a shoe that makes a woman think.
This poem which, at the end, involves my feet was written on my vintage typewriter.
