Upsala, Minnesota

27 Sep

This picture was taken this morning in Upsala in central Minnesota.  It was a chilly 44 degrees this morning.  It was a challenge to lay on my back, feet in the air to get the fall colors as a backdrop for the photo.  My neighbors had to be wondering about my sanity………Jeanne

MSU is a great school. Beautiful area to live as well. My sister lived there for many years.

It does get cold but is a little warmer than where we live.

My neighbors are used to me walking around the yard and down by the lake in barefeet, flannel pjs often with coffee cup in hand and camera in the other.

I’m so jealous right now! It’s still highs in the 90′s here in Texas. I hate that we don’t get many weeks of actual Fall weather. Makes me want to move!

Our fall is nice but most years too short. If we had perfect fall days all the time we wouldn’t be able to afford to live here because everyone would head our way but winter keeps most away.

Yea, looks like there is a good reason for winter lol. It’s the short daytime in winter that we don’t like.
