I recently met my parents in Las Vegas and took a mini-tour of the American southwest. Las Vegas was hot and fun and exciting. Sedona, Arizona was picturesque, and provided moments of spiritual calm when we traveled outside the relentless buzz of hyper-spiritual tourists in the town center. But it was the Grand Canyon that gave me the most poignant experience of breath-taking awesomeness – connecting me in a deep and powerful way to this beautiful earth. Its indescribable scope and colours literally took my breath away. And if you look closely, through some of the angled views, you’ll see that a river runs through it.
And, of course, it’s the river that created it.
Awesome!
