This past Sunday was ridiculously hot in Cape Town and I got to enjoy some fish and chips from the popular shop called Snoekies at The Hout Bay Harbour.My friend Shan who is a born and bred Durbanite looked so chilled in baggy turned up jeans and a print top paired with comfy Havaianas. I am obsessed with the beaded “neck tie” Shan is wearing.It is made up of the most beautifully coloured beads with a very traditional design.This is what’s so awesome about Shan’s style, she manages to mix up a dressy piece with casual items and come to this happy medium .I spent most of the afternoon goofing off taking silly pictures of Shan who pulls the best faces. These are hardly high street fashion photographs but I am quite fond of them. There’s a playful element to them that I love.That’s the beauty of this whole street style thing- your inspiration comes from real moments spent with real people.
