Sunday was the last day of our “Star Weekend” but by no means a walk in the park. We brought our three groups to the Community Garden for a few hours of hard graft, dodging the swarms of mosquitoes and various other bugs we installed bells to keep the monkeys away, trellis to help train our plants into the right direction and digging a channel and big hole for a rainwater catchment area. After all that hard work, this calls for a jetty jump 2.0! The team were all happy to get wet this time and it was a load of fun, especially as the weather was much more favorable. After lunch it was time to bid farewell to our group.
A brilliant weekend, with very diverse activities the on the whole everyone enjoyed. I would like to thank the Star newspaper staff and winners for so wholeheartedly involving themselves in the projects, the organizers in Ecoteer and elsewhere for ensuring that it all went so well!
Sounds like a really fun and productive time, Thanks!
Check out Cambo on tour !
