Wat Pho temple, Bangkok, Thailand

11 Oct

In Wat Pho temple, Bangkok, Thailand, there’s one of the world biggest statues of Buddha.  I remember reading something around 45 and 16 but couldn’t remember the scale.  So, imagine my surprise, when I came face to face with this golden wonder!  He’s 45 METERS-long and 16 METERS-high between his elbow and top of his head.  All artistically covered in golden leaves. Besides, the sole of his feet are covered with intricate designs.

We are honored, Grace, but we are just so busy with real life stuff these days that we don’t really have the time or energy to do your nomination any justice. Thanks!
