If I were to independently define beautiful, I would easily put the island in as a sentence example. The island was simply breath-taking. Imagine endless sand, perfect exposure of sunlight, the smooth wind slapping against your skin and a serene view of the magnificent blue sky kissing the lips of the coral-surfaced clear sea. The locals there are incredibly friendly, especially after being informed of our origins. Mama, a down to earth Israeli manager of the Marine Bungalows we stayed in, a resident in Samui long before we were even born, was very motherly towards every new faces (which explains why guests became automatically obedient and respectful to her). She actually confessed how the last time she encountered Bruneians was somewhat twenty years ago and it was a special thing to her that we were there. Therefore, we had extra care and attention from her workers, and the service given went with very decent discounts too. How lucky were we, huh? ![]()
Sounds like a great trip!
