About a week ago the Embassy of Japan here in Botswana in conjunction with New Capitol cinemas held a Japanese Film Festival. They show 4 movies over a 4 day period for free at the Game City Cinemas to help promote Japanese culture. They do it every year and for whatever reason, though I have been interested, I had never attended one. This time I decided to make the effort and now I regret having not gone to the previous ones. This years took place from the 15th to the 18th November and showed the following movies: Abacus and sword, Always, The girl who leapt through time (anime) and One million yen girl.
