During our 4 days in Tana Toraja, we spent two days trekking in the mountains to get an idea of the rural life of some isolated villages and one day on a scooter to visit some of the best places that Tana Toraja can offer around Rantepao.
We have a really special and good time when we are crossing one of the schools in the mountains. We are welcomed by thousand of kids singing and yelling…
Looks like they really enjoyed you coming!

Look at all those smiles! What a splendid picture!
Thanks!
Thanks for visiting our blog and allowing us, in turn, to discover yours. My mother was brought up in Indonesia. How’s that for coincidence?

It’s a small internet after all!
Wow – what great photos!
My country! (and I haven’t been Toraja *lol) hope you have great days since heavy rain and flood there ( I’m not sure in Toraja but Jakarta is covered with water). It’s nice to have your toe wondering the Toraja.
Good to see you here, anggoen!
I’ve been at there for almost 6 times, my grandmother was live there and the last time I’ve been there was on December, well that’s was a lovely place, it’s nice if we can run away from hectic life and go to that place
Cool!
