I had taken a year out to travel Africa – Southern and Eastern mainly. I had arrived in Zanzibar having spent several months volunteering in Uganda. The morning this photo was taken was my last in Kendwa, where I had met some amazing people who became fast friends. I was heading to Jambiani in the south of the island later that day, excited to be hanging with these new friends.
