St. Augustine, Florida

This photo was taken as my family and I took an early evening stroll on the beaches at St. Augustine.  We were headed to Grandma’s house, in Florida, for the holidays and decided to camp here along the way.

Meat Cove, Cape Breton Highlands, Nova Scotia

“Part of our road trip through eastern Canada. This portion was our favourite part…the Cape Breton Highlands. After whale-watching we quickly setup camp and were forced to take an afternoon nap because of the swarm of flies. The tiny flies would find their way into your hair and clothing, but only seemed to be out from 1 to 3 in the afternoon.

After all the flies that got in the tent were squashed we had no problem napping with the crashing waves in the background.”

Sounds like a great trip to remember. Cape Breton is gorgeous!
