Today is an airport day. By 7:00 this evening I will be back at my family’s home in Mississauga. The most difficult part of the journey is behind me – I’ve said goodbye to my manfriend and have successfully entered the busy, anonymous world of flight transit. The Indianapolis airport is not particularly depressing, as far as airports go, and is also the only LEED certified facility in North America (according to a huge banner directly across from my little table). It does seem ironic for an airport to declare itself “committed to sustainability”, but I’m the one grateful for an inexpensive flight north… so there you go. It’s hard not to feel like a hypocrite all the time.
Yesterday was spring in West Lafayette. Sunshine, barefoot adventures were had, documented with much photo evidence that makes me smile.
Great shot, feels like spring!
