“These are my 1.5 year old daughter’s toes, taken underwater in a pool in Boynton Beach, Florida, just a few weeks ago. She loved the pool so much, and was in for so long, that her little piggies got all wrinkley. “
Nice effect with the water and cute shot!

“After 2 flights, including a very tight connection in San Jose due to a delay in Managua, and some duty free shopping, (not sure how it’s all going to get into my bag), I arrived in Panama City around noon. It took me a few minutes to figure out that there is no taxi stand and they just drive through arrivals and you must flag one down, which seems a little odd to me for an airport, but not a big deal.
The Westin only opened about 3 weeks ago, and it is absolutely beautiful, but they have some work to do as far as service and quality of food. Air Transat is bringing Canadians on near daily flights to this resort, so it was full of package holiday makers, which made for an interesting first day, as I was only one of a few not on the all inclusive package…the staff couldn’t seem to figure out who was and wasn’t all inclusive, resulting in my first cervesas being free (bonus). Spent my first day lounging by the pool, taking a long, hot shower, (the best i have had since leaving home), wrapping myself in the Westin robe, literally jumping onto the king sized “heavenly bed” and finally, indulging in room service for dinner!
The rest of my stay at the Westin went much like this:
Wake up, breakfast, lie by pool, lunch, lie by beach, nap in room, dinner, bed. I hardly moved for 3 days and successfully perfected the art of being lazy! “
Sounds so nice and relaxing!

williamgwscott writes, “I wake up momentarily curious why I am feeling so warm, then I realize that the experiences of yesterday were not so much of a bad dream but they were but the start of an experience in the Mexican Mayan Rivera. The air conditioning was set too high and I failed to adjust it before crashing the night before. As is the usual case with hotels, the pillows were horrible but the bed, surprisingly, was not as bad as I had prepared for, so a huge relief there.
We took some time and explored the beach and the resort. I had philosophical discussion with one of the Mayan statues in the statuary of the resort.
Growing up next to a body of water I have an overwhelming desire to jump in the water at every opportunity I get. Calgary being the dryest place I have ever lived, offers little opportunity to indulge in my passion for jumping in and swimming. I sigh. I am stubborn though so I head back to the room, change, and jump in the pool instead as there is less of a chance of getting my ear wet there.”
Great shots!

“My fat toes, in the “infinity pool” (I hate that term) at the Thanda Private Game Reserve in eastern South Africa.”
These pools have such an interesting visual effect. Beautiful shot!
