I’m convinced my neighbors and the teacher at our weekly Music Together class think BFF and I are inseparable and we are, because black leggings are the only things left in my closet that don’t make this postpartum body look absurd, obscene, or otherwise ridiculous.

Peggy writes, “Escaping frigid temps and mounds of snow.  Winter can be such a fright.  Traveling in a plane to visit the sun.  Mama and baby girl delight,  playing in warm ocean waves with sand between their toes.”

Chicago, Illinois – Garfield Park Conservatory

lisarides8 writes, “This was the first really warm spring day in Chicago last year; I think in the mid-60s, which is shocking for March.
I was on the lunch break during a Master Gardener’s training program at the Garfield Park Conservatory. I wanted to soak up the sun as much as possible after a long winter, so the shoes and socks had to come off,  (you can see the sock marks on my ankles and feet). Then I spread my toes, which is a yogic exercise.”
