Work In Progress- Leaping Into the Unknown
I’ve been very lax about posting updates lately and I know that is a weakness of mine, but here is something new! I’ve been working on this piece for well over a month but just started the acrylic painting portion last week.

Headed up back home to visit Friday Harbor this weekend and the traffic is the worst. I need to find a viable alternate route from Seattle to Anacortes. The interstate just gets worse with every year with the developments of strip mall hell.
Yea, traffic just seems to get worse everywhere as the cities just continue to bloat outwards

This was taken somewhere in Chelan, Washington. A group of ten of us had spent the summer together traveling and learning more about ourselves and about God. We had spent four hours on the hill reading our Bibles, praying, and sharing our lives and what we had learned. We ended our time together with communion, sharing bread and grape juice.
Very nice shot, and probably a great way to share positive energies!

What is The Traveling Tutu? – Just a bit of fun we came up with last year while promoting fundraising events to raise Tuition for The Joffrey Ballet and The American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensives.
Yes I Know – the name of Dakota’s Grandfather’s bear - and the yellow tutu, became sort of the mascots of the fundraising efforts! We started taking him door to door selling green DakotaDance bracelets. Then he showed up at the weekend car washes we held. Later on we started photograping him in different places. After awhile other people wanted to get into the act and pose with him. The Traveling Tutu was born!

This rock footprint is at River Meadows Park, Arlington, WA, USA. I walk my dog there, take pictures and sometimes I play with rocks.

The wedding was a laid back affair with a relaxed dress code with only a request that you wear something with purple for the bride. I did wear a dress but my shoes were flip flops. I had a wonderful time riding my bike in my dress in this huge field. My dress was pink but my purple contribution…toes!

Stonehenge (in Washington state) was one of the places I wanted to stop when I was married and we were traveling from San Jose, CA to Richland and Walla Walla, WA to visit family. But my husband (now ex for over 20 years) was in control of the wheel, and we didn’t stop.
After he left I took my three girls to visit the family in SE Washington state and we stopped all along the way up and back at places I’d always wanted to see but hadn’t been able to.
When I stopped here over 20 years ago with my daughters, my youngest one, Ann, didn’t bother getting out of the car, but started a years long tradition of foot pictures by putting her foot in the car window and capturing the foot along with Stonehenge in the background.
So I had to stop and take a foot picture for Ann.
